Northumberland County Show 27 May 2013

After many years at Tynedale Park in Corbridge the Northumberland County Show has outgrown the site and from 2013 is moving to a new, much larger, site at Bywell approximately 4 miles east of Corbridge. The new 100 acre site is parkland on Lord Allendale’s estate adjacent to Bywell Hall. It is fairly level, well drained and sheltered and a one way traffic system should aid congestion. The larger site allows additional attractions, such as Show Jumping, and will benefit the Alpaca Section as we will have a larger marquee which will allow a bigger entry and better public access. Top international alpaca judge, Nick Harrington-Smith, will be judging so get the date in your diaries and lets make it a great success.
